CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR CLINICAL MENTORS STUDIES PROGRAMMES
The Registrar of St. Francis Hospital Nsambya Training School invites applications for the August intake for Academic Year 2023/2024 for admissions to the Clinical Mentors programmes leading to the award of Uganda Martyrs University – Diploma
The programmes are tenable at St. Francis Hospital Nsambya Training School which affiliated to Uganda Martyrs University – Diploma
Aim of the programs:
To produce a competent professional Mentor who is able to provide promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative health services in mentoring students in the clinical area at all levels of the health care system.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must have the following;
1. Diploma/ certificate in nursing, Midwifery, Mental Health, Public health, Medical education and Pediatrics from a recognized institution.
2. A minimum of 2 years’ working experience in a hospital or health center.
3. Currently registered with UNMC.
4. Certified copies of Diploma/ Certificate transcripts (not photocopies of certified copies) from the awarding institutions
Note that:
a. The applicant must pass an entry interview (both oral and written)
b. A part time program will be offered in modular form for a period of 1 year for Diploma holders and 2 years for certificate holders.
The application fee is 75,000/= excluding bank charges should be paid to STANBIC BANK
